In an optimal vision, the retention basin will become wetland ecosystems that filtrate stormwater prior to their return in nature.

We worked with the City of Quebec in the elaboration of a design, planning and management policy of existing and future retention basins. This policy will bring uniformity to the realisation of basins and guide the designers, consultants and developers with the instauration of practice standard practices.

This design and planning policy will affect more than 400 existing and future basins throughout Quebec City’s territory.
