Greening a schoolyard in a dense urban context and creating urban ecosystems.

This alternative school is based on coeducation and democracy, so we opted for a participative approach in which management, school staff, children, and even neighbors were consulted on the design and program. The project is part of a sustainable development approach and also proposes an educative component.

To encourage and involve the community to the practice of gardening, relatives, neighbors and more than 200 students participated in the planting of nearly 2000 plants.
