The Plateau-Mont-Royal borough gave the Rousseau Lefebvre Group the mandate to participate in the design and construction of a skatepark in a former industrial district, near a railway line. This skateboard park, one of the largest in Quebec, will be the first of its kind in the Mile End. It is a central element in the transformation of the Mile-End rail line, a sector in great flux.

The skatepark project was developed in partnership with the Montreal Skateboard Association as a means to achieve the highest standards in terms of design and construction to satisfy the skateboarder community.

The park also targets a wider clientele. Custom urban furniture, a stage with an amphitheatre as well as large planted areas were added to give a versatile and lively place for the young people of the central boroughs. The objective is to increase site use, here even neighborhood festivals and temporary events can be held.
