The mandate was to rethink the existing parking layout of the borough’s arena to include sustainable stormwater management practices (bioretention, permeable pavers), increase biodiversity and provide interpretive elements in a project aimed at the eco-responsible certification of the CRE-Montréal.

In conjunction with the new youth club on the site, the new layout reconnects the adjacent park and houses to the main road, creating a rich environment that can hold gatherings for the community (small sports events, local market, etc.). The social and environmental objectives support the borough's desire to stand out through design choices that are at the same time efficient, ecological and exemplary.
